rest in paradise my little brother
take care as you fly high
it hurts so much to be saying this last goodbye.

i know you are still here just in a different way
through your girls hearts you will live on every day

i think of you when a cold breeze brushes against my face
when white feathers appear in a random place

sometimes i feel you standing near
i feel your warmth when your spirit is here

we didn't grow together or share the same mum
we missed out on that special bond and sibling fun

but i never saw you as just a half brother
to me you are my full brother even though i have a different mother.

ill miss your smile and the way you always fell asleep
i have just one photo of us that i will always keep.

I remember the day we both bunked of school to meet daddy in bath
i wore that scarf on my head as a disguise, oh we had such a laugh

and then you came to stay at mines
only for a short while but ill forever cherish that time
but.......
I wish we had longer
I wish you had longer
gone far too soon

but you will never be forgotten and you will always be loved
i know in my heart that you are watching from above.

your body is sleeping but i know your spirit is free
and one day you will be reunited again with all of your family.
