Hi, I am new here so I hope this is the correct place to post this, and thanks for your help!

Firstly, I am an experienced creative writer, I've been writing for over twenty years and have previously completed a novel but …

I have been writing a story for nearly ten years. I've written several 80,000 word drafts but I can't get it finished. Nor can I walk away from it. Whenever I start writing I always get drawn back to this story.

The basis of the story: A female entity appears in our universe out of "the blue". Energy is drawn out of her and scattered throughout multiple realities, where it takes on embodied form. The female is the narrator. She follows the stories of her "offspring" in an effort to understand what is happening. In telling the story she has a lot to say about the nature of consciousness/reality.

I am not channelling this directly (ie I am not transcribing from a voice - I wish). But it's coming from somewhere! And because it's uncovering hidden aspects of reality I meet a lot of resistance. Sometimes writing is like wading through treacle, and I'm feeling pretty tired.

My avatar relates directly to the story.

Any comments, suggestions or questions would be welcome.
