How to open my intuition! HELP!

Hi, I have recently found myself on a spiritual path and attempting to bring my soul closer.
During meditation exercises Spirit are f
Giving me the strangest images. Ie only the night before last I was seeing turtles and stingrays (if that's how you spell it.)
In other meditation sessions I've seen willow trees and banana skins and Apples and rulers. Sometimes I get the odd name and date but none of this information means anything to me. I try and give the information to my partner (he just tells me I'm verging on crazy)
Please can somebody help me read into my messages or how to gather a little more information around them.

I am no expert but knowing yourself and getting to know you is the first step for any spiritual seeker ... otherwise you will always be fooled by the illusions of the way .

And once you know yourself you can use your entire energy to guide you correctly

Please note it all takes time And lot if patience it may take years , months but even seconds.

Since you said you are new to the path, try to not make out a meaning out if every clue, it will not be helpful to speed up the process...unless you aim only for that much
