Talismans and Lucky Charms (not the Cereal kind ;)

How many of you have a lucky item that you keep on you or take with you when you feel you need some luck / protection?
A good example would be something like an Angel brooch/pin that many people wear.

I was thinking about it this morning, I know some have things like lucky socks, pennies, ahm.. things like this in their cars, wearing a particular colour or piece of jewellery / an item of a relative ancestor.

I have angel bracelets that I wear when I need comfort but I have a gemstone cat that someone gave me as a gift and I always take this with me when I worry an appointment or meeting will go badly. So far, so good.
I have one of my dad's Turkish eye amulets which I've kept with me whenever someone has been very ill or if I felt threatened spiritually in the past.

So lead me to think.. it must be to do with the belief we have in these things that may actually influence situations. In terms of the law of attraction , the idea is our thoughts are creating our reality.
If you believe you are lucky, will you attract luck?

I used to carry crystals around with me everywhere in my pocket, but now I don't have one,
I refer to my angels as my lucky charm as they are always with me and around me :)
