A poem for S........

This poem is dedicated to my friend. I know things have been rough for you lately.
I wish I had a magic wand to make it all go away. I wanted to tell you how much you
are loved appreciated and valued by myself and the entire family.
You are always willing to help everyone. You are always there for those in need.
Always willing to encourage . The way you care show love and compassion for the little ones
is amazing especially the children in need . You do all this even when not feeling well.
No words.....

You get "it.'' You understand how precious they are. You feel their pain and we both understand
and know when you have no one to turn to no one you can truly trust you feel all alone. You give them hope and understanding. You broke the mold the day :!:
you were born. There is only one and there is no one like you.

Knowing me Knowing you

Our lots have been cast or so it seems.
We have the weight of the world upon our shoulders
it seems to crush us and our dreams.

It's a daunting task to face the struggles within
to be free from shame and guilt and even sin.

We fight and struggle to be survivors
Our lives get maneuvered like Angus T. MacGyvers

Try as we might it takes us down
Thorns and thistles adorn the crown

No one knows the pain that is felt
It feels by the devils hands our cards have been dealt.

Fighters fight
Cowards take flight
There is a light that shines both beautiful and bright
Its a mission of love hope sharing and caring
It begins at night

We are not alone
someone else has been broken beaten and scarred
Their lives have been shattered
cast away with little to no regard

Find those that need that helping hand
they cry out aloud into the cool crisp air
'Take away my pain hopelessness emptiness and despair.'

With love understanding hope and care
we wrap are arms around them
and we begin to share

Miles and miles we have walked in your shoes
We feel your pain
Our hearts bleed also for you

Rivers of tears flow down the drain
A smile appears amidst the rain

Heart strings are tugged
to a brand new tune

They will never beat us
we are in it too win it
you tried so hard to take us out
we now stand strong
and positive feelings begin to sprout

To live you must give
it helps the helper
more than you know
to be united as one
darkness goes away
and out comes the sun

Dreams re-new
goals are then set
minds open up
hearts do to

We pick up the pieces
share the strife
having hope love and trying again
to gain a life

lt's what we do
we do it well
as time goes by
we live to tell

Pay it forward
give it away
don't wait till tomorrow
do it today

Let's go my friend
we have another mountain we must climb

To save them all
one child at a time

I loved my work I just burned out, but I don't have to be directly working with thm t help them. You're right, we need to help those kids and raise them up, show them they are not alone and guide them

You are very welcome. I never ever felt more satisfied and thankful with writing anything before till now.

When you and I were on with RG that night afterwards it solidified in me that I have to help in anyway I can whether it be listening taking an interest caring sharing whatever it is just do it! He came back twice maybe more and I was over the moon still am about that.

Imagine how we would have felt growing up to have someone not only understand but truly be there even in chat. No words...
