Easter Nests for Children
Good for toddlers - children of all ages. Easy prep and cheap to make. Makes plenty
Will Need:
Cases
Cooking chocolate
Rice Krispies/Cornflakes (Krispies work best)
Mini Eggs (UK) Or any Egg-looking chocolates/sweets. Can be creative
Flakes (UK) or any chocolate to resemble the twigs / branches
Strawberry laces can work as 'worms'
Decorations (Easter chicks should be able to find them in dollar store or £1 shops in UK.
Prep:
Melt the chocolate (Best to boil a pan of water, place a bowl over the top of the pan (once taken off hob) and leave chocolate to melt - keep stirring to break it up. Once it has melted place into a bowl of rice krispies and mix until all coated
Spoon the mix into the cases and leave for 10 minutes to set before decorating (this way, they wont fall apart when eaten)
Decorate....
Eat them...
Hope the kids help you wash up...
