first of all i woke up suddenly , it was all quiet, i wasnt hungry or thirsty, i didnt need the loo, and so i just stroked the kitten who was asleep beside me.
a few seconds later i heard the most terrible howling outside, i knew it was one of my cats as all three hadnt come in when i called them b4 i went to bed but they wouldnt come in.
ive heard the cats fighting before, but never so loud, i honestly thought that a fox or badger or something had got one of them.
so i ran downstairs as fast as i could without even getting dressed first and unlocked the back door.
now heres the part i dont get, the very second i opened the door my alarm went off on my phone, now i didnt set an alarm for that time, it was 4.25am and noone had been on my phone.
I heard the howling again so i went through the alleyway and found poor jasper all puffed up and in a state and shaking. he had obviously been in a really bad fight.
i picked him up and carried him in and he was ok after a little while but then i started to wonder, did jasper wake me up, did he or angels or spirit somehow set my alarm on my phone so that i could come down and help him.
maybe if i hadnt woken up and got him in he might have ended up in another fight or worse.
