As you develop as a medium you may notice you become sensitive to energy. Feeling sensations around your aura, but more specifically, feeling energy in your body.
More advanced psychic mediums may simply receive the presence of someone from spirit without any tools but the Family Relationship Chart is a good tool for practice, which I highly recommend. (This will be posted to the forums tonight for future reference, you're welcome to download and save the image).
The relationship chart is something you can follow whilst giving readings or whilst trying to work out who your spirit visitor is. If you imagine the person below in the map is yourself, you can then tell by physical sensations in various areas of your body who it's likely to be.
You either get a hit of energy in a specific area or youdo not.
Don't stress if not, but if you do, refer to it anytime, it might help you to distinguish whether you have a male, a female
whether they were young or old
and in some cases, the relationship to your sitter.
You can also use this chart for reading from the person in front of you. If you sense energy around the sitter or maybe even see orbs around their body, you can use the map to decide who it may be. If you see flashes of light above the sitters head for example, we can judge this is probably a mother, or a father
I also wanted to include that when animals come, you'll sense them the same. You might sense someone down at your feet. At the perfect height for a cat or a dog. Trust it, go with it.
The same for children in spirit, you'll sense their shorter height and from there (whether on the left or right of the body) you will be able to tell if they are male or female.
