A-z of shapes and their meanings


Aeroplanes :

Mean an unexpected journey that might be linked with a disappointment. It may also mean new projects and a rise in status.

Anchors
Say that a journey will come to a successful end and that if the querent is at a present having a bumpy ride through life, stability will soon be restored.


Angels:
Herald good news.

Ants:
Suggest industry andhard work, working with others to bring a project to a happy completion

Apples:
They promise a rosey future in business. They are a symbol of fertility and also represent good health.

Arches: Link to marriage and long term relationships. Someone regarded as an enemy may be about to extend the hand of friendship or forgiveness

Arrows
They usually mean bad news. If the arrow is pointing towards the reader, he or she may be in danger of an attack of some kind, BUT, pointing away, the reader may find himself on the offensive. There is a school of thought that sees arrows as the bearer of ood news in career and financial matters

Axes
Man the questioner having to chop away unpleasant difficulties

Mean new interests.

Baggage - the sort you'd take on holiday
Can mean the obvious, but it can also signify the questioner is carrying about emotional baggage that should be dumped as soon as possible

Bags:
A warning that a trap may be about to ensnare the querent

Say the sitter will soon be bouncing back from current difficulties. Balls can also suggest that someone involved in a sport will have a good influence, probably bringing a changeable future

Are a sign that current commitments may be hard to shed but that they need to be

Balloons
Suggest that troubles may float in, but they will soon drift off again

Bears
Bring with them a suggestion of travel to a foreign country is on the cards. A bear can also say that a strong ally will offer protection in a time of oncoming need, and that he or she will give you the strength you require to resolve something difficult in your life

Buzz with the good news that change of some sort is in store for you, your friends or family

They chime when a marriage is in the air

Birds
Sing that good news may soon be winging it's way into the sitter's life. If they are flying away from the handle (in tea readngs) a departure could be around the corner, perhaps a fledgling is soon to be leaving the nest. If they are flying towards the handle, a new opportunity is on it's way

Boats
Are an indication that some sort of discovery is on the horizon. It also tells of a visit from a friend, and flags tell of a safe harbour being reached

Books:
They tell of a new chapter in the sitter's life. An open book also tells that if wanting to move forward or come to a solution, a secret may need to be shared

Boots
They are a sign that caution is needed, according to some with the gift.
To others a boot means achievement and that if the sitter is seeking protection for some reason, it will be theirs. If they are broken, then it's said a failure looms

Bottles
Suggest that illness may lie in store , but on it's own says that the sitter's life will soon be bubbling over with pleasure. A full bottle is an encouraging sign to channel energy into a new challenge. An empty one is a sign of exhaustion and that health matters may soon be a cause for concern. Half full or half empty, that's the difference between an optimist and a pessimist ;)

Boxes
When open they tell of romantic problems soon resolving. Closed, they mean that a recent lack of determination will vanish, determination will be found again.

They herald a birth.

Bridges
Present an opportunity for success that will soon cross the sitter's path

Sweep changes into life, suggesting that a good clear out (both physically and emotionally) is needed.

Say that innocent pleasures are about to flutter through the sitter's life, offering regeneration and encouraging a carefree attitude

Are a sign that something is holding the sitter back, but they are also a sign of encouragement in that they say the time will soon be when shackles can be shrugged off and it's time to move ahead.

Castles:
Situations are about to improve, especially if concerning the desire for luxury and pampering. they can also say that outside events affecting people who are not members of immediate family are interfering with domestic happiness
