Intuitive reading regarding my Narcissistic adoptive mother, please. Feeling hurt plus pregnant equals hell.

I am looking for some insight on this woman and her true intentions and if they were ever genuine

My name is Stephanie and I am troubled with my relationship with my adoptive mother. After two years no contact we finally began conversing again through text. I happened to be 36 weeks pregnant and she asked if she could come to hospital when my child was born. Initially, I agreed. However, after much thought I tried my best to politely tell her I dont believe we should have our first reunion be at the birth of my child. She responded hours later stating she was sad and thought I wanted to fix things but as usual I am playing games and kicking her down. Which is not the case. I just dont find any logic in irrelevant small talk and deflecting from our problems and then a big happy reunion at my childs birth. I tend to be very straightfprward and blunt and I know its hard for most, but I feel if you truly love someone you will put pride aside to validate their feelings. Therefore, I feel she never really cared for me in the first place...

I'm sorry to hear about your adoptive mother, the short answer i'd give is..yes, it's completely fine to cut off from her for your own sanity, you should trust how you are feeling

Yes that's true, not many people can handle when someone is straightforward but with all you had been going through hormones and added stress on top you would think there'd be some room for her and understanding from her for why you were direct

It doesn't sound to me as though you were playing games at all. I really hope you find a way through this with her but I would say that there's only so much we can take, even with relatives, & the time may be coming where you two go your own ways,

that is perfectly ok, I feel we know within, we just know when it's something we truly want
