oh how i wish to be by the sea

oh how i wish to be by the sea
watching the ripples of a sea so blue
reminiscing, relaxing and feeling that beautiful breeze
bad feelings and memories suddenly subdued.

mesmerised by the silent dance of the moving tide
of the blue so deep
deep below where secrets hide
and mermaids sleep

I close my eyes and hear the sounds of the soothing waves
which clears my mind and eases my pain
this is how i wish i could spend every day
oh how i wish to be by the sea again

i feel at home when water is near
and the peace that water always brings
this is where my energy clears
and meditation is easy when i hear sea birds sing

peace is the emotion that i feel so strong
blue is the colour i see when i close my eyes
I wonder if it would be so wrong
for me to follow the sea and push memories of this life aside

whenever things in my life feel bad
I always long to be by the sea
sometimes then i dont feel so sad
when i dream of the waves washing over me

I sometimes feel the sea is calling me near
like a nature angel that wants to guide me close
when by the sea there is nothing i fear
oh being by the sea is what i love the most.

thanks dragon, the sea is beautiful, I never like to swim in it though, just to watch it, have my holiday booked to north devon at end of this month, so cant wait, its been a year since I seen that blue see and im planning some serious meditation :)
