I didn't feel too hopeful at all before hearing of this, but now, I really do feel there's hope for all of them ... fingers crossed.... welldone to them all and those boys for their strength

Like you said dragon (wise words) emotions come second right now for them as they are focused on surviving. You see in the videos they look quite calm, seems fight/flight/freeze is kicking in. Now I just really hope they can do something soon before the cave floods and water rises further... or they run out of oxygen

I heard on the radio that 6 of the boys are out of the cave today... I have a great feeling for the rest of them too

4 boys safely pulled from Thailand cave as second leg of rescue mission to begin in 10 to 20 hours

Four of the 12 boys trapped with their soccer coach in a cave in Thailand for 16 days were successfully extracted by divers in an hours-long subterranean rescue mission that has gripped the attention of the world, according to the Thai Navy SEALs.

The international effort to save the group has paired elite divers in "buddy teams" with the remaining eight boys and their coach.

Chiang Rai provincial Gov. Narongsak Osatanakorn said the second part of the mission to rescue the others would begin in about 10 to 20 hours after authorities reconvene to assess conditions in the cave and get a briefing on how the initial rescues went.

The first four boys saved, described as the weakest of the group, were removed from the cave a few minutes apart, immediately placed into ambulances and rushed to a hospital in Chiang Rai, Osatanakorn said. He said all of the boys were healthy.

Elon Musk's tiny submarine is headed for the Thai caves

Elon Musk has offered his assistance and has floated plans to save the soccer team stranded in a Thai cave network.

He said he sent a small submarine to Thailand; it is expected to arrive Monday night local time.

Rescue efforts are already underway, however, and may be complete by the time Musk's submarine arrives.

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk tweeted video of a mini-sub, on Sunday (July 8), simulating maneuvering through a narrow passage as it carries a man inside and is being pushed and pulled under water by two divers.

Earlier on Saturday (July 7) Musk said that a team from his rocket company SpaceX in Los Angeles is building a mini-sub to help with the rescue. "Got more great feedback from Thailand.

Primary path is basically a tiny, kid-size submarine ... Light enough to be carried by 2 divers, small enough to get through narrow gaps. Extremely robust," Musk tweeted, adding that it would take eight hours to construct and 17 hours to transport to Thailand.

CHIANG RAI, Thailand (Reuters) - All 12 boys and their soccer coach trapped for more than two weeks deep inside a flood Thai cave have been rescued, a Thai navy SEAL unit said on Tuesday, a successful end to a perilous mission that has gripped the world.

"The 12 Wild Boars and coach have emerged from the cave and they are safe," the Thai navy SEAL unit said on its official Facebook page.

The "Wild Boars" soccer team and their coach got trapped on June 23 while exploring the cave complex in the northern province of Chiang Rai after soccer practice and a rainy season downpour flooded the tunnels.

The Navy Seal team in charge of the rescue says that the 12 boys and their coach who were trapped in the cave have been brought out, completing an extraordinary and arduous rescue operation that captivated the world.

The Seal team posted to Facebook: "12 wild boars and coach out of the cave. Everyone safe. Hooyah."
