Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling too good
Sadly it has happened in my family, years ago, when my grandmother died. There were a few family members who, despite my grandmother's wishes of people being given certain pieces, stole those things and later on aroun 10 years later there were still fights over who took what, when who was supposed to have what. I think it's sick fighting over belongings, people can't be replaced, money and objects can. I don't think it's wrong to leave things for loved ones because it's much better than it going to government, but writing a will is a good idea, and making the executor someone who you trust 100%
I'm with you on grieving the person and not giving a crap what is left for me. I really don't care about inheriting anything, just seeing loved ones happy and healthy and when they die all I care for is the loss of that person. Are you going through something like this right now?
