leo or virgo?

hi I was born august 23rd 1979, can somebody please explain to me why sometimes I am a leo and sometimes im a virgo?

As far as i'm aware, those born on a Cusp will have traits of both signs
I find those born on a cusp usually can relate to the signs, one they were born under, and one which they were transitioning into at time of birth. This may explain why you understand the Virgo traits but are not quite familiar with some Leo ones, such as loving the sun / being a sun worshipper.

so it depends on exctly where the moon was on the exact day I was born?

also I was meant to be born in November not august, does this affect anything as I shouldn't have been a leo or virgo at all?

Yes definitely, i'm not sure BUT if you did see an astrologer they'd be able to tell you the exact star/planetary placements at the hour of your birth if you know it

Where you don't know the time of birth they leave it at 0:300 hours I think, or midnight on the day of your birth


I also questioned that because I was early and was supposed to have been born end of February or early march, but someone told me that didn't matter, it's all about the year, day and hour you were born :)

Sun sign and moon sign are important too.... i'd seek out an astrologer, they don't tend to charge too much but for a full chart they would

there are some websites that offer free astrology charts too ..they may be useful, i'll try find the site I usd ages ago
